Just received a mailing on approximate prices and release date for the new GTR from Prestige Motorsport
The release date in Japan for the new GT-R has been confirmed for 24th October 2007 and the price is expected to be around 7.7 million Yen cost price at Japanese Nissan Dealers.
Prestige Motorsport believes it will take SEVS workshops in Australia up to two years to obtain approval to comply the GT-R but the FOB price would be approximately 8.2 million yen once Japanese registration and deregistration, taxes and other costs are accounted for.
This means the GT-R would cost around $126,000 inclusive of Luxury Car Tax in Australia. Damn good if you ask me.
