Not long ago we talked about a possible 370z, but now it rumours of a “400z” have surfaced!
The car appears longer and wider than the current model Z, with a poorly fitting tailgate and badly affixed headlights. This might mean the car becomes a full coupe, rather than the current model’s liftback coupe style.
I expect a potential 400z would run a 4.0L V6, probably along the same lines as the Nissan VQ40 found in some current Nissan utes. Though, I dearly wish Nissan would consider mating a new line of turbos to these new large sixes.

Both brilliant cars. But hey, the end result is rather obvious when you consider what’s under the hood.
Interestingly, it’s not by much ![]()

(Note this is speculation ONLY at this stage. We’ll keep you updated if anything changes!)
While cruising Autoblog, I literally (well, almost) wet my pants. Is this the new face of the iconic Nissan Z car?
Feast your eyes upon it (kudos to GTChannel).

It makes me giddy with anticipation. The 370Z is rumored to be a 3.7L engine RWD sports coupe, probably using the 3.7L VQ series V6 seen in the new Infiniti G37/Skyline, in line with Nissan’s ever larger displacement engines. Apart from jaw-dropping conceptual styling and a possible motor, not much is known about the 370Z. We’ll keep on it though.
