Just received a mail­ing on approx­i­mate prices and release date for the new GTR from Pres­tige Motorsport

The release date in Japan for the new GT-​​R has been con­firmed for 24th Octo­ber 2007 and the price is expected to be around 7.7 mil­lion Yen cost price at Japan­ese Nis­san Dealers.

Pres­tige Motor­sport believes it will take SEVS work­shops in Aus­tralia up to two years to obtain approval to com­ply the GT-​​R but the FOB price would be approx­i­mately 8.2 mil­lion yen once Japan­ese reg­is­tra­tion and dereg­is­tra­tion, taxes and other costs are accounted for.

This means the GT-​​R would cost around $126,000 inclu­sive of Lux­ury Car Tax in Aus­tralia. Damn good if you ask me.
