There’s something going on in the world of car modification. It’s a new alluring, dangerous idea, and now carmakers seem to be embracing it. I call it gaudy but the street word for it (perhaps wrongly) is “Rice” (a derrogatory term really) — the act of big gaudy paint jobs and fibreglass attachments.

Check out Ferrari’s new attempt to fit in with the gaudy crowd with their new orange tinted matt black (arguable) abomination of the F 430.

Riced Ferrari a Go?

Am I being too harsh? Perhaps. But this is an expensive, world reknowned sports exotic, not a 17 year olds 92 Civic!

Come on…Orange wheels!
