We’ve been asked a few questions on exactly who imports cars in Australia, specifically Japanese cars.

Well there are quite a few, and if you’re in Australia you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to decent service, price and model availability. Here we have a short and sweet list of some we hear have done very well by their customers.

  1. Prestige Motorsport
  2. J-Spec
  3. Iron Chef
  4. Preferred Autos

TRD Aurion tested

CarAdvice have tested the new TRD Aurion. We recently talked about the 241KW supercharged TRD Aurion and it’s big-power-on-the-fronts idea and also about how expensive this performance family barge is. What we didn’t expect was how bad CarAdvice found the FWD, or the news that the automatic, even in manual mode, shifts slowly.

For anyone who’s driven any type of performance car, quick shifts are what makes or breaks a spirited drive through the hills, off the line or even down to the local shops for the groceries — slow shifts kill a performance car.

Give the review a read. It could be the harshest you’ll read, but we think it’s right on the money.
