Toyota has ordered a halt to all TRD Aurion sales after a single failure occurred with a conrod and piston parting company.

Toyota are investigating all TRD Aurions that have currently been delivered and in production, and did not state when the sales halt would be lifted.

For those of you who haven’t yet seen it, here’s a CG picture of the Australian model Subaru Impreza WRX.

Australian Model Subaru Impreza WRX

It’s a little bit different to what is expected over in the States and around the world with that grille, and I can’t say hurts, but doesn’t help either. However I think Subaru will find most people prefer the old styling cues, the number one complaint being the new WRX looks like a Mazda 3 (Perhaps, but a Mazda 3 won’t get up and boogie like a turbocharged 2.0 or 2.5L). My main quarrel isn’t the front of the car, but the BMW 1 series like sides. It’s not a bargain basement BMW, it’s supposed to be a Japanese performance machine.

Sedan plus new styling please.

It looks like it’s that time again.

It’s the seventh year of MotorEx, an exhibition of street machines, classics, restored hot rods and up to 70 custom bikes to the tune of $60 million (that’s in Aussie dollars). The event is held over a single weekend, starting on Saturday, June 30 and ending on the Sunday, 1st of July.

The event includes a heated competition, Meguiar’s Superstars, with categories including the best Performance cars, best Fords and Holdens and best Hot ‘s.
